ABOUT THE DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER

Michael Fischman, MA,MSW,LCSW-R,CGP,CAMS II,DVS I

Michael has been in private and group practice for over 20 years.

He directs The Institute for Psychotherapeutic Advancement, which is a professional group, while supervising staff therapists as well as treating patients. Michael has been effective in helping couples resolve and work through their differences. He has been instrumental in saving marriages and preventing divorce. Through a combination of individual and group therapy the depth of awareness of the couple is modified. Attaining depth and awareness of self- defeating behaviors lends itself to doing couples work in a more effective manner. This is what we are trying to do at Match InK.

Michael continues his training at a well known NYC Training Institute.
In addition he maintains his own analysis.

He is currently developing an Anger Management and Domestic Violence Corp that will serve the Court systems in the NYC area and surround as well as Westchester County, Rockland County and Suffolk.
